Armadilla Wax Works, established in 1971, is an owner-operated business that specializes in the manufacture of hand-crafted candles. It uses refined waxes, suitable cotton wicks, proprietary molds and fragrances to create its candles. In addition to basic candles, it makes special candles such as its 15-hour, floating and unscented candles and candles for special occasions. The company s candles are available on a national level and it also owns and operate its own retail and gift stores in a few locations including its 5,000-square-foot flagship store in Prescott, Ariz.
