Located near the intersection of Av De Paris and Old Halls Ferry, the Pallottine Renewal Center is sprawled across 83 acres of beautiful green pastures. It offers a faith-filled getaway to refresh and revive the spirit with the blessings of God. It also offers conference and meeting facilities, places to relax and reconnect with God and nature and places to come together and celebrate in life's blessings.
Based upon a mission to enable teens from disadvantaged circumstances to lead successful lives and build strong communities, the Wyman Center is nationally recognized for its successful adolescent development models. In fact, the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services recognizes this center as one of only 28 adolescent development programs pre-certified as eligible for federal investment.
Through the years, Wyman teams took the best teen support theories and wove them into a program to build fully prepared young adults. The Wyman approach consists of four key components: interactive peer group experiences; engaging curriculum that is relevant and challenging; community service learning opportunities; and strong support from adults as positive role models.
Summer programs occur at the Eureka-based Wyman Center, but the other programs are conducted throughout the school year via elective courses and after-school programs. Some teens participate in programs that are designed for multi-year development.
Wyman's Teen Outreach ProgramTM (TOP) is a national program for teens that currently is being administered in more than 400 organizations and schools in the United States, Virgin Islands and United Kingdom.
The center is a member of the United Way of Greater St. Louis, and is managed by a board of directors. Private and corporate donors help fund Wyman's programs.
370 Lakeside Park is a recreational area located on Lakeside Park Drive in St. Peters. The 300-acre space is the largest park in St. Peters and offers a 140-acre lake for fishing and boating as well as a three-mile trail around the lake for hiking and biking. The location also has an RV park and will have added a playground, a picnic area, picnic pavilions, a volleyball court and a dog park in the near future. The campground has fifty RV sites, tent sites and a boat rental house.
Rocking J Bonfires & Parties offers horse boarding, trail riding, riding lessons, hay rides, private events and more. Situated on hundreds of rolling acres of pastures and trees, Rocking J offers plenty of space to have a good time. This facility is equipped to handle weddings, business outings, birthday parties, square dances or any other group gathering. Rocking J's main attraction revolves around horses. Whether it's a trail ride for a beginner or a month-long apprenticeship, it's offered at Rocking J.
