About Us The corporation began in January 1967 by purchasing the stock of Taylor Implement Company, Incorporated. In September 1969, the name was changed to Henderson Implement Co., Inc The corporation began operations in a 6500 square-foot, leased facility in downtown Welsh. In 1972 a second location opened at 520 Highway 90 East in Lake Charles, Louisiana. In December 1980, the Welsh Store and corporate office moved to their current location at 211 Service road West in Welsh, Louisiana, just off Interstate 10 at Exit 54. Lanier Implement at 11238 Veterans Memorial Drive East in Abbeville, Louisiana, was purchased in October 1992 as a third location. In April 1999, Henderson Implement Company expanded its business focus by establishing TK Pizza as a regional distributor for Hunt Brothers Pizza. In April 2009, TK Pizza supplied and serviced over 435 Hunt Brothers Pizza outlets in Louisiana and Texas. In September 2007, Henderson Implement Company greatly expanded its product line by offering sales and service for Tracker Marine products and Mercury Outboard Motors at all three locations. In November 2007, Henderson Implement Company changed its name to Henderson Implement and Marine. April 13, 2009 Henderson Implement & Marine further expanded sales and service with the Kioti tractor line.
