Incorporated in 1976, The Bird Rescue Center is a nonprofit, wild bird rehabilitation organization. The center assists public in the rescue of injured, orphaned and ill birds. It also educates people about the ecological importance and natural history of birds. The Bird Rescue Center has released more than 2,500 native birds. It provides primary care services to over 120 species. The center additionally offers various bird care educational orientation sessions. The Bird Rescue Center is licensed by Federal Fish and Game.
