The home of the $2 Jell-O shot draws a lively mix, ranging from motorcyclists to reporters from the local newspaper. It's clean, well-kept and a fine place to watch Raiders games, or to hang out while your wash spins in the laundromat next door. Karaoke is sung on Sundays, and you get $1 off all drinks during Happy Hour from 4pm - 6pm. There are four pool tables.

This secluded events center is privately run and under contract to the East Bay Municipal Utility District. It's a venue for weddings, family reunions and other get-togethers. The Center's Paradise Grill is open to the public for lunch and dinner; there's also a bar, the Spike Room. The wedding and reception areas include a wooded outdoor bower (the "chapel") and indoor ballroom that each seat more than 300 people. All catering is done in-house, with chefs available in many ethnic culinary traditions. Willow Park doesn't charge a cake-cutting fee.

Spanky's has been a neighborhood fixture for nearly years, owned by three generations of the same family.

With a big-screen TV and a truly massive satellite dish on the roof to pull in all the best stuff, there's no question that this is a great place to disappear for a couple hours to have a few beers and watch a game.

There are pool tables to help keep you distracted when your team is down, and smokers will find comraderie on a long wooden bench out front.

There's Bar Olympics (with Beer Pong and Wii on the big screen) on Mondays, DJs on Thursdays and Fridays, Karaoke on Saturday and Free Pool on Sundays.

With a menu featuring Mediterranean favorites such as spinakopita, kabobs, gyros and dolmas, in addition to pasta, seafood, beef and lamb dishes, this is a great place for a leisurely lunch or dinner. The wine list features 73 wines from California, France, Italy and Chile, and spiffy tablecloths and cloth napkins give this place an upscale nudge.  The friendly barkeep behind the long, copper-topped bar greets patrons by name, and there's live music Thursday and Friday nights and karaoke on Saturday nights. Weekend brunch features crepes, omelettes and six different incarnations of an Eggs Benedict.

Doucet features many games, including pool tables, dice, shuffleboard, a wall of real dart boards, video poker, actual pinball and foosball machines. It has a fully stocked bar, with Racer 5 IPA and Speakeasy Prohibition Ale on tap (and many more bottled microbrews). There is a smoking patio, big screen TV (and several small ones) and a fantasy football league. What more could you possibly ask from a neighborhood bar? Oh, this is also ECV #13: a Clamper Bar. Part of the E Clamper Vitus official tippler's route, it means that these folks are serious about their drinkin'. Doors open at 7 am.
