Village Glen School is a multidisciplinary, therapeutic day institution that serves children with social and communicative disabilities, including Asperger s syndrome, high-functioning autism and nonverbal learning disorders. The school serves more than 200 students in kindergarten through grade 12. It provides classes in English, math and science. Village Glen School operates science laboratories, student stores, and computer learning and performing arts centers. The school administers the Pace Program for students with superior intellectual capabilities. It maintains a parent association that organizes various fundraising events. The school conducts several extracurricular activities, such as music and drama. It enrolls students from the San Fernando Valley, Westside and Greater Los Angeles areas and neighboring communities in California. Village Glen School is certified by the California State Department of Education. The school is governed by The Help Group.
