Home About NPCA The Nebraska Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Store Association ( NPCA ) is a nonprofit trade association, founded in 1920, serving the needs of independent petroleum marketers ( distributors ), gasoline retailers, convenience store operators and truck stop owners throughout the state of Nebraska. Never before in the history of our industry have we had more rules, laws and regulations to deal with than today. It is only through the association with others in our industry that we can make a difference. We are often instrumental in furthering legislation, which promotes better business, and in turn, benefits the general public. NPCA is on duty daily to represent you, to safeguard your interest, to protect your business and to bring your views to the attention of legislators. NPCA represents you in Lincoln and through our National Organization, the Petroleum Marketers Association of America ( PMAA ), your voice is heard in Washington D.C. By joining NPCA you automatically become a member of PMAA. NPCA is your survival hotline - We are only a phone call away to keep you up-to-date on new laws and regulations that affect your business. Information is disseminated via our Membership News Letter - A timely and concise Members Only Newsletter provides you with current industry and legislative information vital to running your business Our bi monthly magazine, The Marketer Magazine, brings more in-depth information your way, including special coverage on our annual Convention and Trade Show, as well as The Resource Guide. Each year in March, NPCA offers one of the finest annual petroleum marketing and convenience store operators convention and trade show in the Midwest. This event provides attendees educational opportunities, a chance to see the newest products and service offered in the industry and a chance to network with fellow petroleum marketers and c-store operators. An 18-member board of directors elected from the membership with representation geographically governs NPCA. NPCA is headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska, where a full-time staff implements board policy. Changing with the times, NPCA continues to develop new programs for members while meeting the many challenges of petroleum marketing, all in an effort to ensure the viability of the independent petroleum industry in Nebraska.
