American Asphalt of Wisconsin was established as a division of Mathy Construction Company in 1974 and started asphalt paving work in the Merrill and Wausau areas. American Asphalt continued to grow under the locally managed leadership and currently has operations in Central and North Central Wisconsin.
The company was founded on the basic principles of hard work and commitment. This hard work is evident in providing excellence in product quality, placement and customer service.
Today, American Asphalt is headquartered in Mosinee, Wisconsin. Americans reputation continues as a well known, respected local industry leader because of the dedication and great character of its employees. Americans employees are proud of its tradition of excellence, quality and customer satisfaction.
With more than 35 years experience in asphalt paving and repair, Fahrner Asphalt Sealers LLC is recognized as a leader in the pavement maintenance industry. We pride ourselves on keeping abreast of the latest techniques and state-of-the-art equipment. We have demonstrated the ability to fulfill exact specifications in a reliable and cost effective manner. Our Sales Representatives are utilized as trusted advisors and take the time to listen to our clients needs. Our customers include state, municipal, federal and commercial property owners. We are pre-qualified with the Department of Transportation in thirteen states. We are also able to service multi-property owners with local, regional or national properties. In peak season we employ nearly 275 employees, 22 sales representatives and maintain a fleet of over 180 vehicles at our nine branch office locations.
