The Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council's Gallery at Towne Center offers fine art, glass, pottery, home decor and jewelry for sale. All proceeds go to support the work of the Arts Council.
KCPQ TV Channel 13, the premier Northwest TV station provides news, weather, traffic, sports, health, movies, and scheduled programming. The station is the flavor of the Northwest and has fun and wholesome shows. Once located in Lakewood, WA., the station is now in Seattle.
Shoreline's City Hall Art Gallery features rotating quarterly exhibits featuring three to four artists on the second and third floors of City Hall. The gallery, which can show large and small pieces, opened with the new City Hall in 2009. Pieces are solicited through an annual call for artists by the Shoreline-Lake Forest Park Arts Council (www.shorelinearts.net). Most of the work is for sale.
Spin Alley is a family-friendly, smoke-free bowling alley with an attached bar and grill. It offers league play throughout the week and cosmic bowl every Friday and Saturday from 10pm - midnight. Spin Alley specializes in team building, birthday parties, holiday events, bachelor and bachelorette parties; the entire facility can be rented for events. Open for 50 years, Spin Alley is involved in supporting the community, hosting events to support breast cancer-research and fundraising for Shoreline Community College.
Third Place Commons is a gathering place for families to enjoy a meal, a place for study or for meetings. Third Place Commons' stage hosts concerts, author events and performers of all stripes. A large chess board and children's play area are available. Grab a bite to eat from the food court.
