Founded in 1934, Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra organizes a range of youth and family concerts at several parks and outdoor venues throughout western New York. The organization s programs include Broadway for Kids!!, Halloween Spooktacular! and Pirates of the Niagara Main!. Its musicians specialize in French horn, trumpet, harp and saxophone. Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra hosts shows across the United States and Canada. In addition, the organization sells a variety of music CDs and merchandise items. It also operates an e-mail club. Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra assists with the production and presentation of concerts and music education programs for children and adults. The organization hosts several types of outreach concerts for family entertainment purposes.
