Tucked far from the hustle and bustle of Wallingford's main roads is the Blue Trail Rifle Range and Gun Store.

The facility includes a 25-yard pistol range, 50- and 100-yard rifle ranges, a public shotgun field and a 200-yard range for air guns and BB guns.

Blue Trail Range also offers classes such as the NRA Handgun Safety Certification Class, leagues and clubs such as the Ladies Pistol Club and Junior Rifle Club (ages 9 to 19) and various match opportunities.

The gun store sells new and used guns, ammo, earplugs, safety glasses, targets and cleaning supplies. 

A discount is available for members of the military. Patrons are welcome to bring their own food, and a snack bar is open on the weekends.
