White-Meyer House was built in 1911 by United States ambassador Henry White and later purchased by Eugene Meyer, the owner of the Washington Post. The mansion is a part of the Meridian International Center. Its 18th century French architecture features formal wrought iron gates and a circular driveway leading through a pillared entrance. Its main floor includes an entry hall, sitting room, drawing room, library and dining room, all of which are interconnected. The facility s Walls shelter, a formal garden, is known for its grove of European linden trees. Its public rooms serve as the primary space for Meridian s international art exhibitions. The facility has a capacity of more than 300 guests for reception and over 200 for banquets. White-Meyer House is located in Washington, D.C.
