At his two current offices, Dr. Kushnerik often treats patients for pain related to arthritis, herniated discs, fibromyalgia, muscle injuries, and tendinitis. When physical therapy exercises and mild medications don’t help a patient, he performs minimally invasive procedures like radiofrequency therapy, trigger point injections, epidural injections, and regenerative treatments like platelet-rich plasma injections. When he isn’t at either office administering effective treatments for pain, stiffness, or numbness, Dr. Kushnerik teaches as a clinical assistant professor of anesthesiology at Weill Cornell Medical College in Manhattan, New York City. He has earned numerous awards for his excellence in care, including “America’s Top Anesthesiologists” and an honorary police surgeon degree for his work during the aftermath of 9/11.
