Established in 1973, NEW Cooperative performs harvesting services for a variety of commodities, such as barley, soybeans, wheat, flaxseed, crambe, oats, sunflower seed, mustard seed and grain sorghum. It operates through more than 15 locations throughout Iowa. NEW Cooperative has a grain receiving capacity of over 470,000 bushels per hour. It also provides transportation services through its fleet of trucks. The cooperative offers a variety of online tools to assist in the marketing of agricultural produce. In addition, it publishes a monthly newsletter that offers information on various agricultural techniques.
