Schmidt & Sons, Inc is a family owned business that has continued on through three generations of Schmidts. In 1966 John Schmidt, joined by his two sons, John and Leroy, received the Allis-Chalmers contract and began offering quality service and parts to the community. The dealership is located in the country just 6 miles west of Andale, Kansas. There have been many changes in the farm equipment industry throughout the years. Allis-Chalmers is now AGCO, and they are still providing the quality equipment that you would expect from your Allis company. Schmidt & Sons has come a long way over the years, starting as a father and two son operation to over 20 employees. In addition to AGCO and Gleaner, Schmidt & Sons has expanded to AGCO Hesston, White Planters, Massey Ferguson, Sunflower Tillage, Great Plains, Landpride, Buhler Versatile, CrustBuster, Westendorf, GB loaders, Farmhand, Glencoe, Tye, TAS loaders, KD loaders and AGCO lawn & garden. In July 2007, the Schmidts aquired a dealership in Winfiled, Kansas, about 90 miles south east of their main store. The Winfield location is a full service dealership as well, selling and servicing the same makes listed above. Whichever location you choose to go to be assured that they will be dedicated to giving you the best service possible. There have been many changes over the years but one thing has not changed.
