Founded in 1868, Holy Names High School provides learning experiences for students in grades 9 through 12. It offers educational courses in English, social studies, physical education and math. The school also provides courses in visual and performing arts, technology education and religious studies. It organizes a range of athletic activities that includes tennis, soccer, softball, basketball, volleyball, cross-country, swimming, and track and field. Holy Names High School operates a library that stocks books and periodicals. It is a member of the National Catholic Education Association and the National Coalition of Girls Schools. The school is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Holy Names High School is located in Oakland, Calif.
