Entering its 81st season, Francis Wilson Playhouse was voted Best Community Theatre in Tampa Bay by Tampa Bay magazine. And, it is definitely Clearwater's Favorite Community Theatre. The Playhouse produces a regular season of popular, well-known plays and also holds concerts at the Playhouse, as well as Shows for Young Audiences. There are open audition calls for all shows, and the theatre is always looking for enthusiastic volunteers.
