Located in Chandler, Ariz., Andersen Junior High School is affiliated with the Chandler Unified School District. It offers academic education to more than 1,000 students every year in grades seven and eight. The school has various departments, such as math, science research, social studies, English, language arts, reading, special education, health and physical education. It also provides classes in drama, art, technology, and Spanish, German and French languages. The school also provides guidance and counseling services to assist students in various academic and personal issues. It provides a variety of athletic activities that includes volleyball, basketball, soccer, softball, baseball, and track and field.
