Monfort Elementary School can be found at the end of a quaint tree-lined road inside a Shelby Township neighborhood.The school serves nearly 750 kindergarten through sixth grade students and has been recognized at the state and national level for its academic excellence.Monfort has participated in several pilot programs for children with special needs.Core, which is a program for autistic children, was first launched at Monfort Elementary School.
