Framingham High School, located in the Saxonville section of town, hasalmost 2,200students in grades nine through twelve. The school's mascot is the Flyers. The school colors are navy blue and white. The school's principal is Michael Welch. The current high school is the former Framingham North High school. In 1963, the town split into Framingham North and Framingham South high schools. In 1991, the two schools combined again. About 15% of the students received special education services. On October 20, 1994, President Bill Clinton signed the Improving America's School Act in Framingham High's gym.
