Framingham State University Dining Services offers a range of food plans and options for FSU campus students, nonresidents and staff. Options include weekly meals, guest passes, dining dollars as well as sandwiches, healthy options, soups, vegetables, desserts and pizza.
Mass Bay Community College is an accredited two-year college with campuses in Framingham, Ashland and Wellesley. The Framingham campus is located in the former Farley Middle School, next door to Fuller Middle School and across the street from McCarthy Elementary School.
Students attending Mass Bay receive academic preparation in order to transfer to a four-year college or university, or for career preparation or job retraining.
The college offers an open admissions policy. More than ten percent of its students come from Framingham, and almost half the students attend evening classes.
The Independent Association of Framingham State Alumni, or IAFSA, is a non-profit self governed organization that has been in operation since 1874. IAFSA receives and distributes scholarships, awards and no-interest loans to students enrolled at Framingham State University.
Funding is the product of donations, bequests and the rental of the Alumni House, which is maintained by IAFSA and can be rented for business and family functions.
The American Career Institute offers educational certificate programs in the IT, digital media and medical fields. The school trains people for careers in such fields as graphic design, network administration, computer programming and medical and dental assisting. It also offers career services for its students, such as resume writing, interviewing skill and job search assistance.
