Founded in 1911, YWCA of Southeastern Massachusetts is a social service organization. Located in New Bedford, Mass., the organization advocates for racial justice, economic advancement as well as the empowerment of women and girls. It offers a range of adult, advocacy, residential and youth services. The organization provides various adult services which include transportation for senior citizens aged 60 years and above. YWCA of Southeastern Massachusetts also specializes in helping women recovering from breast cancer surgery.
