Established in 1952, YMCA is a non-profit Christian community services organization. Located in Anniston, Ala., the organization specializes in offering a variety of programs and activities for people of all ages, especially for youths, for inculcating Christian values, social skills and physical sports. Its facilities include a modern machine weight and free weight center, an indoor running track, two racquetball courts, a basketball/multi-purpose gymnasium, a heated indoor aquatic center, and gender specific spas. The community services organization offers classes in kickboxing, indoor cycling, yoga, body sculpting, Pilates and more. Additionally, YMCA offers a range of age specific programs such as the Silver Sneakers program for seniors as well as swim lessons for children of all ages and abilities.
