Located in Covington, Ky., Womens Crisis Center offers various programs for the eradication of domestic violence, rape and sexual abuse and empowerment of victims. The center additionally advocates for the safety, civil rights and health of its clients in political, judicial, law enforcement and other public welfare arenas. Services are provided to women, children, teens, older adults, immigrants, disabled individuals and male victims of partner abuse, rape and sexual assault. Services are also provided to nonoffending parents and the center also offers shelters for family pets. It additionally provides a 24-hour hotline and crisis intervention program, counselor advocates and hospital advocacy. Group services are offered to partner abuse survivors, child witnesses of domestic abuse, as well as survivors of rape, sexual abuse and nonoffending parents of sexually abused children.
