With Friends is a nonprofit and community-based organization located in Gastonia, N.C. It provides residential care, individual and group counseling and outreach services for homeless and at-risk youths. The organization s emergency shelter program includes case management, tutoring, spiritual enrichment and after-care services. It also offers peer education, fundraising events and recreational activities. With Friends transitional living program includes skills development, aftercare, transportation and educational support services for homeless men between the ages of 16 and 21. It also provides vocational training, crisis intervention, mental health care, financial assistance, social and nontreatment services. The organization s partners include the Winthrop University and Belmont Abbey College.
