Formerly known as Central Reference Laboratory, Southern California Reference Laboratory is one of the largest clinical testing centers in Orange County, Calif. Established in 1983, it conducts general health, hemoglobin, urine, drug, hepatitis and thyroid tests. The center provides STAT testing and walk-in Phlebotomy services to patients and clients. Southern California Reference Laboratory offers LDL and HDL subfractionation by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. It also provides a cardiac risk profile called Comprehensive Lipid Profile that helps clinicians to analyze heart risk factors. The organization is licensed by the United States Department of Health and Human Services and California State Department of Health Services. Southern California Reference Laboratory accepts Medicare, MediCal and third party insurance plans. Located in Tustin, Calif., it provides clinical testing services to patients, hospitals, insurers, employers and government agencies.
