Vincentian Home, located in Pittsburgh and operated by the Vincentian Sisters of Charity, is a facility that provides care for the elderly. Founded in 1924, its primary concern is to create a family-like setting, that promotes the physical, spiritual, psychological and social well-being of each resident. Its services include skilled and intermediate care, long- and short-term care, speech, occupational and physical therapies and assisted living. It also specializes in podiatry, ophthalmology, audiology, pharmacy, laboratory, electrocardiogram, X-ray, intravenous and oxygen therapy, ostomy and hospice care services. Vincentian Home also provides pastoral care, including the services of a chaplain, and daily Mass with closed-circuit television for those unable to attend the service in person.
