Universal Windows Direct was originally founded in 2002 by William Barr and Michael Strmac from Fairview Park, Ohio. Their objective was to create a home improvement company that provided homeowners with the best quality products for the best market prices. From one location in Ohio, they have continued to expand and now have locations from the East Coast to the West Coast. Universal Windows Direct expanded into Charlotte back in 2011, and has been providing homeowners in the Charlotte area with the same level of products and services ever since.
