In 1980, Tom Weatherford founded UCI Construction, a full-service merit shop construction company. UCI Construction served the petrochemical and alternative energy industries in the early 80s. UCI Construction then diversified into food processing, utilizing its specialty piping process. Now, UCI Construction has expanded into California s wine and dairy industries while continuing to advance their core business in the energy, petrochemical and civil sectors. UCI Construction has headquarters in Martinez, Calif., and branch offices in Central and Southern California.
