Tri-Valley Haven is a nonprofit organization that provides shelter and counseling services to survivors of sexual assault and battered women and their children. Operational for more than 25 years, the organization operates a 24-hour crisis helpline service. It operates a rape crisis center that offers crisis response and individual counseling services to victims of sexual assault and their families. Tri-Valley Haven conducts a biweekly clinic for victims of domestic violence who require temporary restraining orders. It offers community education programs that focus on various topics, including dating and workplace violence prevention, gender socialization, sexual harassment, conflict resolution and womens assertiveness. In addition, the organization provides case management and housing assistance. Tri-Valley Haven maintains a location in Livermore, Calif.
