About Stones Cyclery Harry Stone established Stones Cycle and Toyshop in 1943, in the city of Alameda, California. But it wasnt until 1963 that Dennis Stone took over his fathers business and gave it the name "Stones Cyclery." Dennis passion for cycling and craftsmanship began with his first custom bicycle, a Raleigh Clubman in metallic blue with chrome tips and a Sturmey Archer 3-speed hub, which still hangs in the shops rafters today. His long lasting relations with Waterford and Bob Jackson Cycles are the result of years of dedication hes given in finding the best quality, and design he can offer to the cycling community.
