Founded in 1994, Southwest Florida Christian Academy serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. It is a ministry of McGregor Baptist Church. The school organizes a variety of calendar activities, such as reciting the months of the year and days of the week, dates, daily weather, alphabet and word reviews, counting activities, place values and money values. It conducts reading, math and handwriting classes each day. Southwest Florida Christian Academy uses a curriculum from the Association of Christian Schools International. The academy offers a college preparatory program that is supplemented with a variety of practical and performing arts classes, as well as a full range of academic and cocurricular activities. It also offers a range of honors courses in English, mathematics, social studies and science. Southwest Florida Christian Academy is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International. The academy is located in Fort Myers, Fla.
