Founded in October 1939, Southwest Electric Cooperative has been providing electrical service to rural members. The cooperative serve members in parts of eleven counties with over 5300 miles of line and nearly 40,000 active meters. It is located in Bolivar, Mo. The company offers a wide range of products and services, such as residential appliance and heating rebate program, youth programs, Rural Missouri, safe electricity, home energy guide, tree trimming, fiber optics, surge protection, automatic dusk to dawn security lights and safe electricity.
