Southmont Sr. High School serves students in grades 9 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes programs in art, English, mathematics, science, social studies and agriculture science. The school additionally offers courses in business education, foreign language, industrial technology, and family and consumer science. Southmont Sr. High School has an athletics department that offers a variety of sports activities, such as football, tennis, cross country, soccer, basketball, wrestling, swimming, gymnastics, baseball, golf, and track and field. It has a library that provides various fiction and nonfiction books, periodicals, encyclopedias, magazines and newspapers, as well as access to the Internet. The school supports the National Honor Society. Southmont Sr. High School is located in Crawfordsville, Ind., and is a part of the South Montgomery Community School Corporation.
