The Seekonk Fire Department responds to all fire and hazard-related emergencies in town. Because a heavy amount of commuter traffic traverses on Route 6, the fire department is always on call. A professional paramedic team and full-time fire fighters are employed by the town. They respond to emergencies; in the event residents are encouraged to call 911. Chief Alan R. Jack heads the department. The station's mission statement is to "provide the very best in community service."
