School of Visual Arts, established in 1983 and located in New York City, offers a wide range of continuing learning and extracurricular programs to the students. The school provides various graduate and undergraduate programs. Its educational programs include painting, drawing and sculpture, and graduate programs, including art criticism and writing, art education, art therapy, computer art, design, illustration as visual essay, and photography, video and related media. The other programs include computer art that offers finished work as an image, sound, animation, video, CD-ROM, Web site, algorithm, performance and gallery installation. It additionally involves students in programs, such as advertising, graphic design, illustration and catooning, film, video and animation, and interior designing.
