Make a sharp turn off of busy North Avenue and you will quickly reach St. Catherine AME Zion Church. The church, which has been around since 1841, offers Sunday school at 9:30am and worship service at 1oam on Sundays. The church is great for children and young adults, as there are a range of programs offered for youth. Kids ages 5-17 are welcome to attend Junior Church, which is tailored to a younger crowd, at 11am on Sundays. Many additional prayer meetings and Bible study groups are active in the congregation.
