Academy of the Sacred Heart is an independent, private elementary school founded in 1818. It has more than 130 school campuses worldwide. The school s curriculum includes various subjects, such as religion, language arts, mathematics, science, social studies and computers. It also provides special academic programs in music, physical education, reading, literature, writing, spelling and penmanship. It additionally organizes foreign language classes in Spanish and French. The school organizes a variety of extracurricular programs, including summer reading, research projects and field trips.
