The Princeton Family YMCA offers programs to help promote fellowship, personal development and enrichment for those in the community. The center features a child development center, teen programs, adaptive programs, an aquatics facility and swim lessons, programs specifically designed for families, an after-school program, an arts program, a summer camp for kids and sports programs. Sports programs are available for kids and adults and are offered for basketball, fencing, golf, swim, baseball, T-ball, flag football and soccer. The staff also hosts birthday parties in a private party room and runs activities for party guests.
Glenfield Middle School is composed of several houses in order to foster a sense of family. Its curriculum places theater and visual arts at its center. Multiple media including paint, sound, clay and film are used in daily lesson plans. In spring 2010, the school put on a highly-acclaimed production of Annie.
Located in the Richard J. Cody Arena next to the Turtleback Zoo, the NJ Devils Youth Hockey Club is dedicated to developing the ice hockey skills of kids of all ages. From clinics to tournaments to team events, theclub has something for everyone, regardless of skill level.
