Pete started MidWest Wire Works in July of 2004. Previously he had worked in a variety of industries, corrugated paper, plastic injection molding, extruded films and trade show exhibits. Pete grew up working at his familys business Hubbs Greenhouse ( Marengo, IL ), a garden center with several retail satellites and always knew that he wanted to get back in to the green industry. Pete is a graduate of Illinois State University with a BS in Physics as well as the University of Illinois with a BS in General Engineering. Production Manager Jorge started with MidWest Wire back at our start in July 2004. Jorge has been in the wire manufacturing/tree basket industry for almost 30 years! He specializes is custom wire manufacturing and productivity management. Jorge is also know for his creative eye that can customize any wire piece to fit your needs! Our Production Staff Founded in 2004, MidWest Wire Works has grown to become one of the most recognized tree basket manufactures in the United States. Due to customer demands, we have expanded our production line to include tomato cages, plant supports, trellises and many additional nursery/greenhouse supplies. In addition to our in-house production, we distribute a wide variety of nursery/landscaping supplies such as burlap, twine and digging tools. Because our customers are our top priority, we are constantly reviewing our product lines to ensure that we are meeting the needs and expectations of the Green Industry.
