With fine wines (including varietals from local wineries), gourmet imported cheeses, and some of the freshest fish and meats in town, The Fish Lady is like an old-fashioned butcher with more panache. The business even has a smoke house for smoked fish and beef. Customers can also purchase clam chowder and ceviche made fresh every day. When you're done picking out a gourmet entre and exquisite bottle of wine, The Fish Lady just happens to be a few steps away from Sunnyside Produce, a locally owned and operated produce stand that fills up the bins with only hand-picked produce.
The Fish Lady is more than just a market. The patio in front of the store is a terrific spot for wine tasting dinners, anniversaries, and birthday parties. And on Friday nights, from 6pm – 8pm, live music and wine tasting liven up the atmosphere with an energetically and sociable night out.
Founded by Katy Lovell, Poetic Cellars is a Soquel winery offering a number of hand-crafted wines made from local vineyards. Each bottle's label features a poem from Ms. Lovell's partner, Joseph L.
