For more than 75 years, the Indelicato family has been crafting fine wines while assembling a portfolio of estate vineyards. Delicato harvests more than 10,000 acres of vineyards across the top grape growing regions of California. These range from the coastal cool of the legendary San Bernabe Vineyard in Monterey to the rolling foothills of Lodi. Beginning with the early days of growing and selling grapes, founder Gaspare Indelicato then started producing modest amounts of wine for family and friends. The second generation expanded operations substantially by instituting a custom winemaking program catering to other California wineries, and later by acquiring the jewel in the Delicato crown San Bernabe Vineyard. The family has taken success to a higher level as Delicato brands are now represented in every premium wine segment and continue to grow.
