The Wine Room is the tasting room for Two Amigos Wines, a family-owned winery serving customers in the Sonoma Valley area. The Wine Room also offers wines from GlenLyon Vineyards & Winery. Customers can sample wines from both vineyards and also may purchase Two Amigos wines by the bottle.
The Woodward Graff Wine Foundation runs the Richard H. Graff Scholarship Fund. The scholarship was created after in memory of Dick Graff, after his death in 1998, to fund the education of students interested in the food, wine, or hospitality industry. The foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit, and is funded by the purchase of Graff Family Vineyard Wines, as well as donatinos. The foundation is named after the Dick Graff, along with Phil Woodward, who were the founders of the Chalone Wine Group.
The valley of the Moon Vintage Festival has been celebrating the harvest of wine grapes in Sonoma since 1897. Yearly the event is held the last weekend of September. It not only provides a fun celebration for the community and visitors, but it also helps support local non-profit organizations. The celebration, held in the historic Sonoma Plaza, offers two days of fun filled events. Activities such as live music, a 5k walk/run, ameture wine competitions, blessing of the grapes and grape stomping competitions will keep locals and tourists alike entertained for the entire weekend.
