The PS 42 Occupational Training Center offers a range of individualized vocational training programs for young adults between the ages of 18 and 21. The school s curriculum is designed for meeting the special learning needs of students. It operates counseling, music, physical education and computer technology departments. The PS 42 Occupational Training Center assists with the development of personal calendar organization skills and employment application processes. In addition, the center s extra curricular activities include concerts, skating, bowling and swimming. It provides training sessions in grooming, hygiene, budgeting, housekeeping and meal preparation. The PS 42 Occupational Training Center is governed by Buffalo Public Schools, which manages several elementary, high and adult education schools.
