Whiddon-Rogers Education Center, founded in 1960, is a high school that serves students in grades six through 12. The school s academic curriculum comprises various subjects, including English, mathematics, science, reading, social studies, physical education, arts, music, business education and computers. It offers a range of student services, such as guidance and family counseling, transportation, anger management, peer counseling, career inventory exploration and conflict mediation. In addition, the school offers college scholarship opportunities to its students. Whiddon-Rogers Education Center is located in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and is a part of Broward County Public Schools, which is approved by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement.
