Located in Palo Alto, Hope Technology School is a private, non-profit educational facility which provides preschool, elementary school and vocational learning opportunities for both typical students and students with special needs. Additional services include occupational, speech pathology and physical therapy. School tours are held the second Monday of each month at 3pm.
Founded in 1989 to provide education on the nature and treatment of sleep disoders to medical practioners, the School of Sleep Medicine offers courses in polysomnography and sleep medicine. Also offered are courses for physicians preparing for board certification in sleep medicine and technologists preparing for certification. Classes start at various times of the year. Bay Area School of Performing Arts offers courses in dance, music and theater. The school provides instruction to students in Palo Alto, San Jose and Daly City. Specific courses include Creative Drama, Acting Fundamentals, Basic Acting, Songwriting, Teen and Junior Glee, Contemporary Jazz, Break Dancing, Hip Hop and Creative Movement. Spring and summer camp opportunities are available.
