Facets Multi-Media, founded in 1975, is a nonprofit media arts organization. It is a distributor and archive of more than 65,000 independent, art, classic, documentary, silent, experimental and childrens films on DVD. The organization offers premieres, festivals and retrospectives. Facets Multi-Media also operates Facets Film School, which provides education for adults and children related to the art and legacy of films. The organization operates Facets Video, which is one of the largest distributors of foreign films in the United States. It serves over 300,000 audiences yearly. The organization additionally offers childrens film programs, including summer media arts camps and workshops. Facets Multi-Media is a publisher of lost and neglected films.
