American Legion Post 86 is the Rockville post of the American Legion, a non-profit verteran's organization. The organization exists to support veterans and those active in the military, as well as its community. This post hosts a variety of events and programs throughout the year to give back to the community and to those who serve, or have served, our country.
Located in Eldersburg, American Legion Post 223 is a community resource which provides its local community with volunteer services in hopes to support and increase the quality of resident life. This Post also offers its hall for social gatherings which can hold an excess of 220 guests.
The Howard L. Turner American Legion post serves Severn, Glen Burnie and Ft. Meade. The post prides itself on giving 100 percent of its donations back to the communities it serves. The post offers a 3,200-sq. ft. hall for rent for weddings, parties and banquets and includes a fully stocked bar, full kitchen, restrooms and air conditioning for up to 240 guests. The post features a bar and hosts a variety of community events and fundraisers for local charities throughout the year. The hall is also available for private parties and other special events.
