This isnt Tex-Mex, we like to call it Fresh Mex. Its a style of Mexican food thats layered, sophisticated in flavor, and completely original. We use all fresh ingredients, local wherever possible and make everything from scratch. We even roast our own chilies. Old Town Mexican Cafe southwest dishes have garnered numerous awards including Chef of the Year (2003, Key West Restaurant Association), Best Entree (2008, Key West Master Chefs Classic), and a Peoples Choice Award (2009, Key West Master Chefs Classic).
