The Santa Fe Solid Waste Management Agency, also known as SFSWMA, operates under the government of the city of Santa Fe in New Mexico. It provides an integrated refuse and recycling management program with an emphasis on protecting the environment and health and safety of the public and staff. The Santa Fe Solid Waste Management Agency offers citywide weekly recycling pickup services. It also provides recycling of aluminum cans and pie pans, corrugated cardboard, glass food and beverage containers, plastic bottles, flyers, inserts, junk mail, magazines, catalogs and newspaper. In addition, the Solid Waste Division operates the Buckman Road Recycling and Transfer Station (BuRRT), which accepts electronic waste, such as computers, monitors, printers, fax machines, copiers, scanners, plotters, peripherals, phone systems and telecommunication equipment.
